How should we solve the problem of round LED display screens?

Overall diameter: Determine the outer diameter of the ring, which decides the installation space and visual impact.

Ring width: It refers to the width of the ring (the difference between its inner and outer diameters). The ring width determines the arrangement of pixels and the readability of the content.

Dot pitch: It refers to the distance between the center points of two adjacent LED beads, with the unit being millimeters (mm). For example, P2, P2.5, P3, etc. The smaller the dot space, the higher the clarity but also the higher the cost.

Viewing distance: The closer the viewing distance, the smaller the dot pitch required, the higher the resolution, and the finer the picture quality.

Ring width limit: Within a fixed ring width, the dot pitch determines the number of rows of pixels that can be arranged in the vertical direction (radial). The narrower the ring width, the smaller the dot pitch is needed to ensure sufficient display height.

Trapezoidal module splicing: This is the most mainstream and professional solution. The LED module itself is made into an isosceles trapezoid. By connecting multiple trapezoidal modules end to end, a smooth circular ring is formed. This is the most effective and seamless approach.

Rectangular module approximate splicing: Using small-sized rectangular modules for splicing, the ring is actually a "polygon". The cost is relatively low, but when viewed up close, it has a jagged texture and is not perfect. It is suitable for projects with limited budgets or viewing distances.

Irregular-shaped controller: The output of a common LED controller is a rectangular signal. A controller that supports irregular splicing must be used. It can locate the position of each module through software, correct the distortion of the video source image, and precisely map it onto the circular shape to ensure that the image does not deform.

Receiving card and power supply: The required number of receiving cards and power supply power need to be calculated based on the number of modules and power, and reduce.
